Antonio Rocha + Isaura Oliviera

This episode we welcome Antonio Rocha + Maestro Isaura Oliveira who were artists in Indigo Arts Alliance's Mentorship Residency Program in October-November 2021. Rocha, a Brazilin native and a graduate of University of Southern Maine has taken his fusion of mime and spoken word to over 16 countries on 6 continents. Maestra Isaura Olivera founded Teatro Brasileiro de Danca in Boston, MA and is an expert in the African roots of Brazilian Sacred & Popular Dance, rhythms chants and performance - rituals.

Flo Edwards

Florence S. Edwards DDS, has been a practicing dentist for almost 2 decades including time served as a Captain in the US Army. She is a Howard University College of Dentistry graduate and a Maine resident since childhood. Flo is an active member of her community; she serves on the Board of Directors of The Third Place and is a board member of Friends of Casco Bay. Podcasting grew out of her volunteer work at the University of Southern Maine's WMPG radio station and she organizes a networking happy hour for Mainers of Color, called Fourth Friday. In 2024 Fourth Friday became a recipient of a Maine Community Foundations grant.
