As the creator of the Beautiful Things Project, Arisa curates poetic collaborations that are rooted in Black queer women's ways of knowing. Arisa is also working on an opera. Flo Edwards

Florence S. Edwards DDS, has been a practicing dentist for almost 2 decades including time served as a Captain in the US Army. She is a Howard University College of Dentistry graduate and a Maine resident since childhood.

Flo is an active member of her community; she serves on the Board of Directors of The Third Place and is a board member of Friends of Casco Bay. Podcasting grew out of her volunteer work at the University of Southern Maine's WMPG radio station and she organizes a networking happy hour for Mainers of Color, called Fourth Friday. In 2024 Fourth Friday became a recipient of a Maine Community Foundations grant.
